Client Information

To prepare your documents, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your:

You must not knowingly provide false, misleading, fraudulent or fabricated information.

The CV People is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the client.

Accuracy of Client Information

The final document is prepared using information provided by the client.

We may improve wording, structure, presentation and positioning of the information provided, but we do not verify every qualification, employment claim, certification, achievement or professional credential independently unless a separate verification service has been expressly agreed.

The client remains responsible for reviewing the final document and confirming that all information is accurate before using it for applications.

Our Writing Service

Our service is intended to professionally present your genuine experience, qualifications, skills and achievements.

We do not guarantee employment, interviews, shortlisting, promotions, salary increases, immigration outcomes, professional registration or any particular career result.

Recruitment decisions are made independently by employers, recruiters, institutions and other third parties.

ATS-Focused Documents

Where an ATS-focused service is purchased, we aim to structure and write the document in a manner suitable for commonly used Applicant Tracking Systems.

However, no particular ATS system, employer, recruiter or recruitment platform can be guaranteed to accept, rank or select a document.

ATS performance can vary depending on the recruitment system, vacancy, keywords, employer requirements and other factors.

Orders and Payments

An order is considered confirmed once the applicable payment has been received and accepted by The CV People.

Prices displayed on the website may change without prior notice. The price applicable to an order will be communicated or confirmed at the time of purchase.

Additional services requested after an order has been confirmed may incur additional charges.

Commencement of Work

Work may commence after payment and receipt of the information reasonably required to prepare the requested document.

Delays in providing information, responding to questions or approving drafts may affect the delivery timeline.

Delivery

Revisions

Requests involving substantial changes in career direction, new employment history, additional qualifications, significant new information or a completely different document may be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.

Revision requests must be submitted within the applicable revision period communicated with the order.

Client Approval

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing their completed documents before using them.

Once the client has approved the final version, subsequent changes may be treated as a new service.

Refunds and Cancellations

Because our services involve personalised professional work created specifically for an individual client, cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on whether work has already commenced.

Where work has not commenced, a cancellation may be considered subject to applicable law and the specific terms communicated at the time of purchase.

Once substantial personalised work has commenced, refunds may not be available except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by The CV People.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Our role is to professionally present the information supplied by the client.

Third-Party Platforms

Clients may use our documents on platforms including LinkedIn, SEEK, Indeed, employer websites, recruitment portals and other third-party services.

Those platforms operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, formatting requirements and recruitment processes.

The CV People is not responsible for decisions, technical issues, account restrictions or actions taken by third-party platforms.

Intellectual Property

The final personalised document prepared for a client is provided for that client's personal professional use.

The client must not resell, reproduce for commercial purposes, redistribute as a template or use The CV People's proprietary materials to provide competing services without written permission.

The CV People retains ownership of its:

• Branding
• Logos
• Original templates
• Writing methodologies
• Internal processes
• Website content
• Marketing materials
• Other proprietary materials

Client Testimonials

Where a client voluntarily provides a testimonial, The CV People may request permission to publish the testimonial on its website or marketing channels.

Client names, photographs, job titles, employers or other identifying information will only be published where appropriate permission has been obtained.

A client may request removal of their testimonial by contacting us.

Confidentiality

We treat client information and career documents as confidential and use them only for legitimate business purposes connected with providing the requested services, administering the relationship, maintaining records and complying with legal obligations.

We do not intentionally publish client CVs or personal career documents as examples without appropriate permission.

Prohibited Use
